We believe that a student's social and emotional well-being is equally, if not more, important than their grades. The real-world demands communication collaboration, flexibility, and problem solving whether in work-life or relationships. Therapeutic intervention decreases stress and increases confidence, leading to readiness for learning. That's why in 2013, Julie Gordon developed a blended model, offering half-day ABA therapy and half-day education. After years of success and proof of concept, Julie and the founding Board of Directors sought to charter the first public charter school of its kind, Dynamic Minds Academy. Awarded in 2019 and renewed in 2024, Dynamic Minds Academy is bridging the gap between education and therapy for students with ASD.
