Primary Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician:

  • Providing individual and group ABA intervention to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Implementation of treatment and behavior plans under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)
  • Guide skill acquisition and behavior management in clinic and classroom settings for assigned clients
  • Complete accurate, real-time data collection via various documentation mediums – SOAP/progress notes, behavior tracking, ABC data collection, parent communication logs, etc.
  • Participate in ongoing training, staff development and continuing education for professional growth
  • Upholding strict ethical code and positive, healthy work environment
  • Obtainment of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within 6 months

Professional Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Degree in ABA, psychology, social work, education or related field preferred.
  • Pediatric or Adolescent experience preferred. Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.
  • Experience as Behavior Technician in ABA or Mental Health preferred.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification preferred with compensation bonus for credentialed RBTs.

Position Information:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week preferred
  • Part-time: 20 hours per week, 5 half days per week required
  • Work Hours: 7:45am-4:15pm Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour

We are seeking a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our amazing Clinical Team!

Responsibilities:

· Oversee a “Pod” that includes a caseload of clients and behavior technicians on a designated “Team”

· Develop and supervise client treatment plans using evidence-based practices and The Hope Source ABA philosophy

· Develop, train and supervise client behavior intervention plans when necessary and using evidence-based practices and The Hope Source ABA philosophy

· Create and train strategies to support clients toward accomplishing goals within meaningful engagements and groups through Protocol Modification

· Assist with client Assessment delivery and analysis

· Collaborate with Family Guidance Coordinator for parent support, communication and training

· Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team of BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, Counselors, Teachers, Art, Music and Rec specialists, Team Supervisors and other members

· Provide Clinical Supervision for RBTs and Clinical Assistants when necessary

· Provide Group Continuing Education trainings for RBT each week

· Assist with RBT Competency during new hire orientation

· Attend all Clinical, staff, development, and team meetings

· Upholding a strict ethical code

· Contribute to positive, supportive work environment
